May is all about warm weather. About GRADUATION
and about Cinco de mayo. About Mother’s day and about Mulberries
( which have made it into every crack of our wooden floors). The beach
is beautiful and the water is still cool enough to give you a tingle.
Justin has left us and out on the road trip of a lifetime, going to Alaska.
Hopefully he’ll send some pictures and we can pass them along. The
French Quarter Art Walk, the North Charleston Art Festival, and Spoleto
are all happening this month, it’s a great time to be in Charleston.
The Charleston Greek Fest (always a favorite) is happening on the 12th-14th
and you can Salsa the Night away on Folly Beach Pier on the 12th of May.
There is some cool stuff going on at the Gibbes Art Museum and you can
check that out at www.gibbesmuseum.org. If nothing else, come for the
Confederate Jasmine and a little lemonade. We’re having a summer
solstice party in June, we’ll keep you posted. See you soon. The Staff
