Nov 2005

Ray narrated like a pro.

That’s right “Big Chief no Shirt” is bearing it all…

Just Kidding, Cat Stevens wasn’t there.

Even the Fall doesn’t complete begin “falling” until November (well, the end of it) and so it’s been feeling more and more autumnal as the weeks go on.
November started out smashingly with the Bike Fest 2005 which was well attended and a lot of fun. I had two thanksgivings here this year. A “pre-thanksgiving” with my parents who came down a week early to celebrate and a gigantic thankful bash that Elizabeth and I cooked here at the hostel. It was a multi-cultural thanksgiving and I think all the clean family fun may have been overwhelming for the hostelers visiting. Playwright extraordinaire Aaron Krolikowski visiting us from Portland, OR inspired us all to reflect on the political incorrectness of the first thanksgiving with his play “A day of thanks and a night of giving”, of which we have pictures but must remind the audience members does not reflect the opinions of those that run the hostel and all companies contained therein. Enjoy!

Mr. Gill from Bon Paul and Sharky’s in Asheville came down to give thanks with us at the NotSo.
